Privacy Policy

Last updated June 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PROmpt ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our service. By using PROmpt, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

PROmpt is a free, public prompt library. You can browse the entire site and copy any prompt without an account, without signing in, and without giving us any personal information. We do not have user accounts, we do not ask for your email, and we do not collect payment information.

The limited information involved is:

  • Server logs: like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to operate and secure the service.
  • Functional cookies: we set cookies only for our internal admin sign-in. Browsing the public library sets no tracking or advertising cookies.

We run no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

2. How we use this information

We use the limited request data above only to operate, secure, debug, and improve the site. We do not sell data, we run no ad targeting, and we do not build user profiles.

3. The images on this site

Every image displayed is AI-generated and depicts no real person. The images are not collected from you; they are produced by us and served from our content delivery network as part of the public library.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to operate the site:

  • Our hosting and database/auth provider, for serving the site and the prompt catalog.
  • Our object-storage / CDN provider, for delivering the catalog images.

Each provider receives only the data required to perform its function.

5. Data retention

Standard server logs are retained for a limited period by our infrastructure providers for security and operational purposes, then rotated out. We hold no personal accounts or user-submitted content to retain or delete.

6. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information from visitors, there is generally no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, reach us on our Discord.

7. Children

PROmpt is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app.
